People are looking for ways to stay fit and healthy through their routine chores, since there is no other way but to run as per the schedule to make both ends meet. Exercise can be said as the most appropriate way to deal with all the stress and strain and still stay healthy. So, it is no wonder scientists and health professionals all over the world are contemplating continuously over the benefits of exercise to general population. Retarding the aging process can be said as one of the prime benefits related to regular exercise regime.

For strength and flexibility in old age, exercise is the only factor that helps without giving any side effects. But definitely, it is good to consult your family physician before you start with any kind of exercise regime, as certain exercises may not benefit you and may be dangerous to do. For optimal efficacy and reduction of joint restrictions, especially elderly population must engage themselves in some or the other exercise program in order to retard the aging process and feel young.
